We Ranked Nigerian Sausage Rolls From Worst To Best

Sausage rolls are quite popular. When stuck in traffic, they are within reach and can help you keep hunger at bay. But which brand makes the best sausage rolls in Nigeria? Today on Ranked!, I take on sausage roll brands from Bigi to Yum Yum to find out the best.

6. Bigi

This tastes okay, but there are a lot of things the producers can do to improve. Change the wrapping, for example, and vamp the taste of the beef inside. Other than that, it’s soft and quite nice. 

5. Gala

Lets be honest: Gala is a household name, but the Gala of today is nothing like the old Gala with the transparent nylon. It’s no longer as big, and the corned beef in this one is not as rich. But it’s still filling sha. Pair it with malt and you can shift hunger small.

4. Beefie

This is quite big, and I think that’s what they have going for them. The taste is cool too, but then it isn’t always as soft. Most ones I have encountered are baked deep brown. If that’s your thing, then go for it.

3. Superbite

The honest truth? Superbite is not as we know it. This new one is not as full, the crust is baked thin and lacks weight. But te taste is unique, and I like how it is cut different from other brands. That’s why this is at number 3. 

2. Rite

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE RITE! Everything in it is just right. The corned beef in it is different, the crust is soft and fresh,and you can finish two without knowing. And that’s the thing: It never satisfies you. It leaves me feeling more hungry lmao. It’s a good thing though. Keeps you coming for more.

1. Yum Yum

This deserves the number 1 spot. The sausage roll is full, soft, thick, and very very tasty. The brand is quite new in the market, but they have set their own standards. I hope they continue this way and not fall into that trap of reducing quality when they become even more widely known.
